Your Ray Caye experience begins at the Welcome Centre, where our friendly team is always ready to greet you with a warm Belizean welcome. Dive Shop
Pirate Reef Dive Shop
More than just your gateway to world-class diving, the Pirate Reef Dive Shop is the heart of adventure on Ray Caye. This is where most island tours begin—whether you’re headed out for a scuba dive, snorkeling excursion, or fishing trip—and where certified PADI instructors offer diving courses for all levels.
In addition to coordinating excursions, the shop is stocked with the essentials you may have left behind. From snacks, drinks, and sunblock to toiletries, sunglasses, and tour gear, Pirate Reef keeps you adventure-ready. Swing by to check tour times, gear up, or grab a few extras before hitting the water.

Lionfish Bar and Grill
Island dining at its best, the Lionfish Bar & Grill is Ray Caye’s signature restaurant, serving fresh, locally inspired cuisine in a relaxed Caribbean setting. Whether you’re starting your day with a beachside breakfast, enjoying a casual lunch by the pool, or sitting down for a flavorful, chef-curated dinner, every meal is a treat for the senses.
Open daily, the restaurant welcomes both overnight guests and day visitors and features an all-day bar for cocktails, wine, and local brews. Day visitors are required to make reservations, click here for more information.
Hours of Operation:
- Breakfast: 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
- Lunch: 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
- Dinner: 6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.

Yoga and Massage Studio

Next door to the gym, our open-air yoga studio invites you to stretch, meditate, or flow through your practice with the sound of the waves and the breeze off the reef. Yoga is typically self-guided, but we do host seasonal yoga retreats that bring in experienced instructors for guided sessions and wellness programming.

At Ray Caye, the Caribbean Sea is always just steps away—but if you’re in the mood for poolside relaxation, we’ve got you covered with two swimming pools.
The Lionfish Bar & Grill pool is open to all visitors and perfect for a refreshing dip before or after your meal. For something more secluded, guests of the resort can enjoy exclusive access to The Cove pool, a peaceful retreat reserved just for overnight guests. Whether you prefer swimming in saltwater or lounging in freshwater, there’s always a spot to cool off in paradise.

The Cove
Tucked away on the quieter side of the island, The Cove is a private, guest-only retreat designed for pure relaxation. This serene space features a swimming pool, comfortable loungers, shaded tables, and a laid-back bar serving your favorite tropical drinks. Opening hours for the bar at The Cove may vary.
The Cove offers the perfect setting for both casual days and special occasions. Planning a celebration? This versatile venue is ideal for intimate gatherings, with the calm sea breeze and stunning surroundings setting the tone.
Don’t miss the Cove Lookout—climb the spiral staircase to the top deck for one of the best sunset views on the island. It’s a must for photo ops and quiet moments alike.
Salt Water Adventure
South Dock Saltwater Slide & Platform
Looking to add adrenaline to your island escape? Head to the South Dock, home to one of Ray Caye’s most playful features: our two-story saltwater slide. Twist, turn, and splash your way straight into the warm Caribbean Sea—no lines, no crowds, just pure island fun.
Right beside the slide, you’ll also find a platform, perfect for thrill-seekers ready to take the plunge. Whether you’re leaping into crystal-clear waters or cheering on a friend, the south dock is a guest favorite for all ages. It’s the ultimate way to cool off, wake up, or cap off a day of adventure.
Snorkeling right off the south dock is also a favorite pastime of our guests.
